Nigel will chat about the work in Somerton on the training of assistance dogs to work alongside military and blue light veterans suffering with PTSD, from how the rescue dogs are sourced and assessed, to placement and training.

The annual Family Fun Day is now part of the Somerstock weekend, with the music festival on Saturday 9th July and Fun Day on Sunday 10th.

A full evening of Jive dancing to Roy Warry and the very popular local band Twisted Vinyl. Roy teaches jive at Crewkerne Torn Hall and at the Edgar Hall in Somerton. It's a great way of meeting new people, listening and dancing to a variety of music from across all eras. And it's not as fast and furious as some people think!
