The annual Family Fun Day is now part of the Somerstock weekend, with the music festival on Saturday 9th July and Fun Day on Sunday 10th.
Fun Day is free to enter, and will have lots of music, family entertainment, classic cars, dog agility, bars and plenty of food.
FUN DAY MUSIC
Somerton Concert Band | sponsored by John Rickard and Wendy Smart
Al O’Kane (guitarist and singer/songwriter) | sponsored by John Rickard and Wendy Smart
Cover All Bases (the best rock and pop from the past 25 years)
Fonzy & Company (wholesome fun and catchy music)
Graffiti Falls (talented two piece band from Somerton)
Jamestown Brothers (soul stirring, foot stomping original country, blues and folk from Somerset)
PLEASE NOTE: Although Fun Day is free to enter, you will need to download a free ticket for everybody who will be attending, including children, via the Somerstock website.
The reason for this is because attendance now exceeds 499 people, the limit at which it becomes necessary to have an event licence. In order to obtain this licence we have to submit an event plan to the council giving them a maximum number of attendees which in this case was 1000. This has nothing whatsoever to do with bars and drinks licences. It is a safety issue to ensure that events have the appropriate number of stewards / officials / safety measures in place.
A limited number of tickets may be available as returns are being re-released.
