DESCRIPTION:Event sponsored by Wine Wise \nJoin local drinks expert Stuart Avison as he guides you through an evening of all things gin! Learn about the history of gin and how to mix the perfect cocktail. Turns out the perfect mixer for gin is ginger ale – who knew! The evening begins with a G&T followed by samples of different flavoured gins and gin liqueurs and finishes with a gin cocktail. If you’re a gin lover and always wanted to understand more about the spirit\, this is the event for you. \nSpaces are limited to 30 so booking is essential. Tickets will not be available at the door. \nIf you can’t do this date\, we’re running another gin tasting evening on Tuesday 7th July\, same time\, same place. \nTicket prices:  Early Bird £18 | Standard £20 \nBUY YOUR TICKETS NOW!\n\n\n\n\n\nGin Tasting (1st July)\nTickets will also be available to purchase from Stationery House\, Somerton from 1st May with Early bird tickets available until Sunday 17th May. \nYou will be asked during the purchase process if you would like to Help Keep Zeffy Free! DESCRIPTION:Event sponsored by Avalon Sciences and The Etsome Arms \nWe are delighted to present our first beer tasting event hosted by our very own Martyn Smith. \nMartyn joined the British brewing industry in 1970 in Burton upon Trent — famously known as the “Brewing Capital” of Great Britain. Over the next 30 years\, his career took him to several locations across the UK\, culminating in a three-year stint in the Caribbean before finishing in 2000. \nAlong the way there were humorous moments\, major technical developments and fascinating technological discoveries within the brewing world.
